Dear Auntie Mary Koski,
This is Carissa Poellot, one of your fairies! I am so pleased to come across your website while trying to buy stowaway fairy books for my baby niece! I can't wait to read her your stories and am excited to read the newest of your books myself! I thought about you and your family during our last trip to Kauai. I will have to stop by if we ever make it back to the big island! My condolences for Oiva, I am sure he is in a better place. I hope the rest of your family is well and my Aloha to all of them!
Best Regards,
Carissa Poellot
Hello Mary! I have been an admirer of your artwork for many, many years! I have several of your books, including the mini-treasures, and also a signed lithograph.
My daughter lives in Kamuela and teaches at Parker School (Performing Arts)...She recently met one of the children you had painted, Anna.....and viewed the original artwork...She was so excited, as she has known how much I have enjoyed your artwork over the years.
Mahalo for sharing your tremendous talent! Michelle
Dear Mary,
This is Janie and Jim Simon from Potomac Falls, VA. So nice to see your new website. We've had several trips to Hawaii since we last visited with you but they have all been to other islands. Maybe your Island next! Greetings to your Husband, Oiva.
Gosh Mary!! I am impressed!! :)
How nice your site is! Love looking at your pictures and reading your story. You look great!!
Glad you like your housekeeper :) Who are you getting to clean those hardwood floors and behind the toilets?? :)
I will be returning to your site It is really a wonderful site. Did you do it yourself.--I'm lucky I can find it-I am the road-kill on this super highway of cyber-space :)
Hi to all

Hello Mary,
I just want to say I've always loved your paintings. I met your son, Tom, when I was a product manager at Digital Equipment in New Hampshire back in the 1980's. Tom was my engineering counterpart at the time. We've remained friends since that time and on occasion interact via email. My husband and I had an occasional opportunity to socialize with Tom and Kathleen, and I recall a day or two once when I visited them while on a business trip in Colorado. I'm quite fond of both Tom and Kathleen and wish I could see them. At present, my husband and I live in the beautiful central coast of California.
I'm on my way to Hawaii soon on the October sailing of the Island Princess, cruising with my 89 year old father. We will be stopping over in both Hilo and Kona for 2 full days on our cruise, and I'm hoping there will be galleries where I can once again admire your paintings. Perhaps someday I can find a way to purchase one of your paintings.
Best wishes,
Kathy Appellof
My husband and I purchased a signed and number "Blue Ginger" several years ago. I don't see anything like that on your site. I went into an art gallery in Maui and saw the original and loved it...and we went back there 2 days later and it was sold! I did find mine though. I also have one of your address books, but can't find that on your site. I know you do other things in regard to commerical cards, etc. Is there a way to find out about the Alphabetical address book. Mind has a little girl sitting on a stone in the falls like Blue Ginger and is old. I would like to find another one like it..your pictures are so beautiful, the tones and light and background alway complement the child. I hope you are still painting. Thanks...

Aloha Mary,
We purchased your original pastel "Joy of Hula" when we were stationed at Kaneohe Bay in 1992. As we've moved around the world, Joy has constantly graced our home with a sense of the joy of the islands. Your painting always reminds us of our wonderful tour in Hawaii. I hope we can return and stop by your gallery again sometime. Your talent is a blessing from God. Mahalo for sharing it with us.
Aloha,

We saw your work at the Merrie Monarch arts and craft festival area, and had a most delightful talk with your husband. My daughter and I are in theatre and publishing, so we had much to talk over in a most enjoyable half hour. Thank you for the wonderful work you do. It was the first time I’ve seen it, and it’s magnificent yet touchingly personal. Beautiful. Thank you. Say hi to your husband!
